Our family would like to thank all of you for the loving care Guinevere received from you. Of course, she would have preferred to be in her own home, but she always said if she couldn’t be in her own home, River Meadows was the second best place to be. She loved all of you and was always so appreciative of all you did for her.
She loved all the special programs where music was involved. A week before her passing, she didn’t feel well enough to join the group but wanted to sit in her doorway and listen to the karaoke singing in the family room. Soon she was singing and humming along with everyone else. Music made her so happy.
We all appreciated Karen for the fun activities she planned each month. Mom looked forward to receiving the calendar to post on her wall. Each day we would look to see what was happening that evening. These activities kept the residents busy and involved.
